Dear Family, Friends, and Loved Ones,

We are so excited to announce that....WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really thought that Trey was going to jump out of the room! We were very excited. A few weekends ago, I got to spend the day with my roomate from college, Karen, and her son, Brett. After spending a day with baby Brett, my mind was made up that I wanted a boy. Of course, I am not going to lie, I was a bit saddened to have to think of a new nursery theme, and a life without bows, dresses, and shopping. But, that is okay! I am now looking forward to sitting in the stands at sporting events and cheering our little one on!
Life is definitely going to get a lot busier over the next few months. Thoughts are consuming our heads! What are we going to name the little guy? What stroller do we buy? How do we decorate the nursery? On that note, we have a few nursery ideas...We both love the "Baby Rockstar" theme. Unfortunately, we can not find ANY bedding for this. So, I am thinking about getting creative on my own and doing black, white, and red. I am imagining a room with music notes, records, guitars, zebra print rug and "Sweet Child of Mine," written on the wall with rockstar wings. (Thanks Ashley for the song idea). Trey and I both love music and think this might be a great idea. Who knows? My mind will probably change a million times between now and then!
Other than baby stuff, life is quite nice. We had a relaxing weekend spent with good friends, lots of naps, church, home group, and quality time together. We are both reading a great book with some couples from our home group called Sacred Marriage. It is amazing and a must read for every christian couple. Re-reading the last few sentences just made me feel very old...but made me also realize how happy and thankful I am with life right now.
